AFUO is the 17th album/EP by singer-songwriter, Skip Jr. Campbell. The album is very reminiscent of SJC’s previous works with its ethereal atmosphere, haunting vocals and cinematic arrangements. The songs ring true to the album’s concept - meticulously written stories, eerily riddled with magic and mystery. The EP’s instrumental interludes tie each song together, helping to render its true sense of fiction and fantasy. “August Moon”, the EP’s opening track features Anthony Rodway (of the Alt-Rock outfit, Dream Creeps) on lead guitar, playing the role of “the moon” - as Campbell describes it. Overall, “A Few Unnatural Occurrences” is an entertaining 12 minutes, leaving its listeners wanting more.
